· Melodic House & TechnoView onlySolid groove and the core idea works. What's holding it back is the low end and a flat dynamic arc. Fix the kick and bass clash first (0:07), then give the drop real headroom (0:11).
The intro states everything at once. Strip it back for the first 4 bars and bring the bass in later, so there's somewhere to go.
Kick and bass are fighting in the 60 to 90 Hz range. Sidechain the bass to the kick, or carve a notch there so the low end breathes.
This section should be the payoff, but it's the same loudness as the intro. Pull the earlier parts down 3 dB so this lands with impact.
